Before you take the leap into building an online business, you might be wondering if it's a good fit for you. I've created a few guided questions to ask yourself to see if you're ready to start making money online. Let's get started.

Do you know your way around a computer?

Can you make online purchases, browse websites, download, upload, and find information online? If you can't, that's ok, but you need to learn the basics before you jump into building an online business.

Can you follow step-by-step instructions?

Making money online is no longer a mystery. There are proven systems available to you that will show you the exact steps to take to get there. The question is, can you follow them? If you can replicate proven systems, then you can replicate the success they provide.

Can you follow through?

We're all guilty of starting things and not finishing them. Learning something new comes with challenges, but the rewards are abundant for those who follow through. You will face difficulties along the way, and maybe even feel like you're failing at certain times, but if you can continue to work hard, learn from your mistakes, and move forward, then success is withing your reach.

Can you hold yourself accountable?

When you first start out, you will most likely be a solo-prenuer. You can absolutely build a team as your business grows, but you'll be going it alone at first. This requires self-discipline and holding yourself accountable. If these are things you struggle with, you could use your new business as an opportunity for growth in those areas.

Are you responsible with money?

When you start making money online, it literally feels like magic. Seeing those first dollars hit your account is an incredible rush! However, you need to be able to budget and reinvest your profits responsibly to grow your business. As your business grows, it will bring in more income. As your income grows, you can reinvest it to grow your business. It's a cycle that works, but only if you are financially responsible.

Are you ready?

If you've been thinking about starting an online business, looking into it, or asking about it, then you're probably ready. It's not a get-rich-quick scheme, it's not winning the lottery, it's a real business that requires real work. But what you can get in return is something that's hard to find anywhere else–financial and time freedom. If you put in the work now, you will most certainly reap the rewards later.
